Pipeline + Surveyor Summit 2021
APPS believes its Pipeline Survey courses more than satisfy your state’s requirements for continuing education credits. However, if you intend to use these courses to meet your state’s continuing education requirements and have any questions or concerns based on your state-by-state experience, we suggest you confirm these courses’ applicability with your state oversight authority.
These courses introduce surveyors and survey technicians to the unique concepts and realities of pipeline survey projects. For example, unlike boundary surveys, pipeline surveys have many different stakeholders, including pipeline owner/operators and often unwilling or unaware land owners. Additionally, unlike boundary surveys, pipeline survey projects have major safety hazards including heavy machinery, significant inclement weather, and necessary tools such as machetes.
These courses also familiarize surveyors and survey technicians with pipeline survey data collection, Federal Pipeline & Hazardous Materials, Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulatory concepts such as "traceable, verifiable, and complete" records, collecting “as-built” survey data, and the unique demands/requirements of working for pipeline owner/operator companies.
Join the Association of Professional Pipeline Surveyors (APPS), for a two-day, virtual conference. Gain perspective and hear from industry professionals.
Please note: this course is no longer available for CE credits.
Free courses still require the input of a valid credit card, however, your card will not be charged.
