APPS’ non-profit members include organizations dedicated to pipeline infrastructure safety and workforce development. These include, but are not limited to, other non-profit entities such as the Gas Technology Institute (one of APPS’ founding members), universities with dedicated curricula or foci on the pipeline industry, and certainly municipalities, townships, counties, and even neighborhood organizations. Government agencies and civic associations have a vested interest in pipeline safety and pipeline infrastructure’s development. APPS believe that surveyors may be the best positioned professionals to assure a pipeline’s safety and its safe and logical development.
