Many of APPS’ “individual members” are not surveyors, but professionals with other dedicated interests in pipelines or pipeline survey. For example, surveyors rely on specific tools and technologies. Individual members may represent these interests and seek the benefit of networking among surveyors from across the country and pipeline owner/operators. Other “individual members” likely include professional staff from public agencies or interested residents wanting to stay informed about pipeline safety initiatives or what it means to have a pipeline, let alone a surveyor, on his property.

Finally, some surveyors unaffiliated with any corporate entity join APPS to take full advantage of the association’s pipeline surveyor training, course discounts, and opportunities to network with other members.
