APPS “Corporate Survey Firms” are incorporated entities whose purpose is to provide professional surveying services. These firms range in size from sole proprietorships to very large corporate employers. Although many corporate members are sole proprietors, many manage multiple survey crews and provide services on multiple pipeline projects at once.

These members frequently have working relationships with pipeline owner/operators or are seeking these relationships. Further, larger corporate members have significant experience providing survey and even pipeline survey services and therefore become very valuable resources. The association and its other members rely on their experience to help inform and augment APPS’ courses and assure the most relevant and up-to-date information and skills are a part of the association’s curricula.
